| Something that started out as a novelty idea...has turned into one of the most exciting parts of the tournament. Since the expansion of the Shootout to encompass both the River and the Lakes course in 1999, it was decided that we needed to add something to the tournament to "bring" together both 18 hole fields. Once all the scores are tallied, the
winning Gross teams are driven to the #9 River tee box for their Run for a
Grand. With the full tournament field gathered around the #9 green, the
setting is ideal to provide just the right amount of pressure for the final
four players. Just one more detail that sets the Shootout apart from all
the rest!
